Who we are
Indisol is a company dedicated to the design, development, manufacture, industrialization, testing and services of epoxy resin insulating solutions.
Indisol also develops standard components for use in electrical energy transmission and distribution (T&D) equipment, medium voltage switchgear, railway line equipment and sensors for the medium voltage network of SCADA systems.
These components are custom designed and tailored to the specific needs of each customer.

Indisol History
Indisol was founded in 1989. During the first years the company was dedicated to market research and product development. In 1992, it transferred its head office and manufacturing facilities to the Cacia – Aveiro variant and began manufacturing electrical insulators with a product of its own design. In 1994, Indisol transferred its manufacturing facilities and headquarters to the Quimigal Industrial Park in Estarreja. A new change of premises, in September 1999, within the same park, but to a larger industrial pavilion, represented a move to a space with 600m2 of covered area .
From 2006 to 2013, Indisol acquired new equipment with the aim of taking a place in the insulators market, increasing its area and production capacity. In 2014, Indisol concentrated its entire unit in the new facilities located in Ecoparque de Estarreja, increasing its installed capacity to an area of 6,000m2, with a new layout and increasing the range of electrical tests to up to 150kV with the acquisition of a new electrical tests .

Where we operate
Indisol is located in a business segment and market where the processes used are of high technology. Its export quota is around 90%, directed essentially to the European market and North Africa.
Indisol has its main customers in the international markets: Siemens, Schneider Electric, ABB, Efacec, among other medium voltage switchgear manufacturers, electricity transport and distribution (T&D) companies, companies in the railway sector and companies that use SCADA to monitor the medium voltage network.
